The Echo Group conducts grant writing workshops in Cameroon

Dr. Robert Tolar, president of The Echo Group, recently conducted workshops in grant proposal writing and fundraising for NGO leaders in the Northwest Province of Cameroon. Local arrangements for the workshops were handled by the Center for Integrated Rural Development and Environmental Conservation and by the International Children’s Welfare Foundation.

Donation assists school in adding classrooms

In cooperation with the IDEA (International Development and Education Advancement) Foundation, a Portland-based non-profit organization, the Echo Group provided funds for Alankie School of Bamenda to roof three classrooms before the rainy season began.  The school had been scheduling classes for 142 students in one classroom.
